My round-trip commute to work is the exact length of the Foo Fighter’s album, There Is Nothing Left To Lose. Ask me how I know that.
How do you know that, Erin?
I randomly noticed one day that when I started my car in the morning, the CD started right at the beginning. I wondered if the thing like, resets or what. The next day, I noticed the “reset” as well.
I have this annoying-to-roommates quirk where I can listen to the same music over and over again. I’m boring like that. But I love the Foo Fighters and I was just getting psyched for the new Foo Fighters album (released two days ago).
So the next day, I decided to see if the same thing happened—if I arrived home at the very end of the CD. Unfortunately I was a minute early. But still.
Think about it—that means that I drove at about the same speed every day, hit the same amount of congestion near UCSD, and spent the same amount of time parking on whatever level in our narrow garage at work. On the freeway, I go between 62 and 82mph, I’d say. But it all averages out, apparently!
Crazy, huh? How long is your commute and are you a Foo Fighters fan? Have you downloaded the new album yet?
