I love this!
My friend B once asked her maid to color-code her bookshelf…long story, I know…but the woman did it. Then I tried it (on my bookshelf, not B’s), but it didn’t look right. Too many book spines were many-colored. I need to buy more books with monochrome spines.
But anyway, after this video, I am inspired to retry!
wow. That is a person with a lot of time on their hands! I color code my closet, but that’s as far as I go.
I can’t imagine how much work this took, but it’s so cool! I’ve thought about color coding my bookshelves, but I fear I’d run into the same problem of too many multicolored spines. To the used book store! š Jenny of Frecklewonder does the color thing, and it’s just one of many divine features of her home decor. http://www.frecklewonder.com/2011/01/10/brainstorming
@Amy, OMG, her shelf looks good and I LOVE the name “Frecklewonder.” Thanks for sending!! @melliebay, I organized my closet by like, “stuffy work blouses,” “polos,” “winter-ish dresses”…the categories are kinda specific and weird.
