Last night I had a blast. Go figure, I was downtown in the Gaslamp! First I went to Fluxx, where San Diego Magazine was having its 50 People To Watch party (more on why I went…later! (And no, I am not a person to watch)). Free food and drinks—but I held myself back, which is hard to do when it’s free.
Everyone was so nice and the crowd was really good-looking. So many more blondes than I’m used to! Everyone here is so easy on the eyes! I love it. Such fun. In the V.I.P. section, I saw Roberto from The Bachelorette. But I didn’t want to stare.
Then…for a second, I thought I was back in NYC, because I was able to walk from one party to another. OMG. I went to Vin de Syrah on 5th Ave. My friends Cady, Kirsten, and Erin were tasting wine. I tasted with! But then the staff cleared away the tables and chairs, and the place turned into ntz-ntz-ntz. Not my scene. But fun to be out with the girls! Also, the wine was reasonably priced, except parking at Horton Plaza turned out to be $28—but, eh, that’s a cab ride from the West Village to the Upper-Upper East Side.
