My loco time at the wedding in Mexico (in photos)
November 15, 2010 by Erin Meanley
Such a fun time! Once I get the photos from my friends, I’m going to make a good Facebook album, but for now…my adventure, in photos.
First person to greet us at La Casa Que Canta was a cut-out of the groom, Matt. The bride, Jen, was there, too. Next, margaritas waiting for us!
There were fresh flowers everywhere, including the baño. I accidentally drank some of the water without thinking, and the bride, Jen announced in front of 30 people at the pool (we had the whole resort to ourselves), "Meanley! Here's your Immodium!" I dove underwater, mortified!
The view from one of the balconies in our room—!
We all got towels with our names embroidered.
Introducing Mr. & Mrs. Matt Thompson!
We were treated to all kinds of surprises, like fireworks and this Three-Amigos-looking band!
After taking shots of Don Julio and dancing in sombreros, we jumped in the pool with our dresses on.
This evil wicker bird lamp electrocuted me in the mouth! I went in to kiss it (for a photo), and when I touched the (metal??) beak, it jolted me back at least a foot, my friends said. I thought someone had thrown a baseball at my mouth! Ouch! I always hated birds, too.
