It’s Day 9 of living with—er, staying with—my parents. (If I don’t watch the wording, I won’t be able to live with myself.) Okay, so naturally, I’m adopting my parents’ lifestyle, which means it’s been 8 not-so-crazy nights of drinking. Sounds like Hanukkah. Not.
By some miracle, my stomach is flatter. I totally swear! It’s all about consistent drinking and smaller servings. For example, back in New York, I would down 4 pints in a night and then go cold turkey the next night. Here, I drink 1.5 pints. In New York, I might’ve had 3-4 oversized glasses of wine and then 2 slices of pizza at midnight. But here, it’s old-school—dainty wineglasses and nothing to snack on.
Bottom line, to see results, just be consistent with your drinking and keep up that wine metabolism. Be consistently moderate.
